Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about our metal shop guys and a question about recovering from the current economic situation.

If you don't know, we've had a series of questions come in from eight, four lefties and four right-wing metal fabricators,

who all work in the same shop and listen to

political YouTube videos at work. Here's the latest. Hi, Miss Bell, sorry it's been a minute. We've had a lot

going on. We are now a shop of six instead of eight. Layoffs. On the upside, it's now four left

and too hard right, so that's fun. But for real,

it has not been a good month. The boss did the layoffs by letting the newest guys go first.

He'll probably keep doing that. And the next two to go would be the other right-wing guys.

Leopards meet faces. All jokes aside, I do feel bad for them,

and they have a serious question, and specifically said to ask you, because they remember you

saying this was going to happen this way. They said you were full of it at the time, but here we are.

Feel free to gloat if you make a video. They kind of deserve it.

But their question is, how long will this last? Trump and the right wing stars keep saying it'll be

short term. What does short term mean? Well, in economics, short term could mean anything from

three months to three years depending on the context.

But honestly, it doesn't matter.

If Trump sticks to his policies, this will not be short-term in any way, shape, or form.

It will get bad in a few months.

And yes, I understand I'm saying that to people who are working at a place already experiencing

layoffs. The disruptions you're experiencing aren't from the tariffs. They're from the spending

cuts and the rumors of tariffs. They're from a lack of consumer confidence and an uncertainty
