So today, we're going to talk about Iran telling Trump his strikes didn't matter.

As quickly as the news is moving, it's easy to forget about the conflict Trump inserted the U.S. into just a couple of weeks ago.

Trump is still clinging to the idea

that the sites were obliterated, despite estimates to the contrary. One of the big questions

about the effectiveness of Trump's move has been settled. There's been a lot of debate about

whether Trump strikes will deter or encourage Iran when it comes to seeking

a nuclear weapon.

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran made it pretty clear.

Quote, our policy has not changed on enrichment.

Now, it's worth noting that Iran, like U.S. intelligence estimates going back years, said

they weren't pursuing a nuclear weapon.

That's a position the Iranian official reiterated.

Quote, Iran has every right to do enrichment within its territory.

The only thing that we have to observe is not to go for militarization.

Iran has repeated its statement that they are still in possession of their uranium. It's also worth

noting that Iran looks like they might stop cooperating with the International Atomic Energy Agency,

which will obscure the nature and extent of their program. From Iran's point of view, an entirely separate issue might encourage them to pursue

their own nuke. They found out countries don't have friends. They have interests. Their supposed

allies didn't go to bat for them.

For all the talk framing Iran, North Korea, China, and Russia as some kind of alliance, they certainly
