If your car is not running in a very hot day, especially in the 80s, even if you just have the

windows cracked, it will still get hot enough for the child to be in danger in the car.

Um, children's body temperatures rise about three to five times faster than adults.

So typically if we're really hot, our child is really hot.

Hey guys, happy Monday. So this week we are talking all about car seat safety,

and I had Bridget come on the podcast. Bridget is a nationally certified child passenger safety

technician, and she talked to us all about car seat safety. She talked to us about choosing a

car seat tips on prepping, you know, before you even have baby, what you can do, some safety tips.

She talked about what a tech even does, what a child passenger safety technician will do in

the hospital for you, what they would do, you know, if you had, if you saw them in a private setting,

and different like state regulations for that, we also touched on sleeping in a car seat,

sleeping in the car seat, because I think that is one, I know I'm definitely guilty of that for

letting my kiddo sleep a little bit more than the recommended time. So she touched on those safety

regulations and like why that's important and what to kind of know about that. And then we talked
