Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about Trump crushing the economy, and even Trump's team doesn't know why.

As markets all over the world are tanking, not much is actually known about Trump's plan,

and why he's destroying the retirement accounts of

millions of Americans and erasing literally trillions from the markets. It's just a maze of claims,

so much so that Trump's team doesn't seem to know what he's doing either. The Agriculture Secretary

said, quote, this is about reshoring thousands, hundreds of thousands,

millions of jobs. Okay, bring jobs back. Got it. Trump said, quote, we have a trillion dollar trade

deficit with China, hundreds of billions of dollars a year we lose to China. And unless we

solve that problem, I'm not going to make a deal. Okay, so it's about trade deficits. Okay.

The White House staff secretary said one tariff in particular would bring in, quote,

$100 billion in new revenue.

Trump himself said the terrorists would bring in, quote,

anywhere from 600 billion to 1 trillion will be taken in over the relatively short-term period,

meaning a year from now. Okay, new source of tax revenue. Got it. The Agriculture Secretary

also said, quote, this is the ultimate deal maker. Negotiating tool. Got it. In the last 72 hours

or so, we've heard Trump officials say it's about bringing back jobs, it's about addressing

trade deficits, it's about tax revenue, and suggesting it's a negotiating tool.

I feel like I should really do a chart for this, but just follow me. If it's about bringing

jobs back, it can't generate revenue because nothing will be imported and it can't be

a negotiating tool because the tariffs will have to remain in place for years to get factories

moved here. If it's about tax revenue, it can't be about jobs or deficits or negotiation
