Well, howdy there, Internet people? It's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about early voting, demographics, and why Trump is nervous. As the early votes come in, the results aren't known. But there is some demographic information that comes out. At the time I pulled these numbers, about 68 million votes had been

cast. Party registrations were about as expected. Democrats were up by maybe a percent. The age

breakdown looked pretty normal. The real noticeable difference was gender. Women are outvoting men, by a lot, and where it matters.

Nationally, only 44% of the early votes are men. Fifty-four percent are women. Two percent are

unknown. That's a ten-point difference. Looking back at more than 40 years of data,

women always vote at higher rates than men, but it's normally about a 2 or 3 point difference.

Once or twice, it has been up to a 4 point difference, but not a 10 point difference.

There's no way of knowing whether or not this trend will hold, but this

could be a whole lot of unlikely voters showing themselves. When you look at the swing states,

the picture is pretty much the same. In Georgia, 56% women, 44% men, 0% unknown. 12 points.

North Carolina, 55% women, 44% men, 1% unknown.

11 points.

Michigan, 55% women, 45% men, 10 points.

Pennsylvania, 56% women, 43% men, 1% unknown.

13 points.

Wisconsin, 51% women, 43% men, 6% unknown.

Only 8 points here, but it's about twice the highest historical average.

There's also a high percentage of unknown.

Nevada, 45% women, 44% men, 11% unknown.

Just a point, but again, a huge amount of unknown.

Arizona, 48% women, 43% men, 9% unknown. Five points. Lots unknown.
