Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again.

So today we are going to talk about something out of the realm of science fiction.

A plan, an idea, a concept, a fleeting thought to colonize Venus, the planet, by the year 2050,

a floating colony with a thousand people on it.

I mean that is something else.

The reason it's something else, you know, you don't often hear people talk about wanting to colonize Venus because

it's referred to as Earth's evil twin. Not exactly a very welcoming planet, mainly because like at the equator, like the average

temperature is like 842 degrees. and that's hot enough to melt lead. There's no like real water on the planet, but it does rain sulfuric acid.

And the atmospheric pressure is, I don't know, 90 times what it is here. So obviously this is not a planet that

most people you know really set their sights on when they start thinking about colonizing another

planet because I mean that would be really hard and it seems almost out of our depth so so to speak.

But there is a person who is hoping to accomplish this by the year 2050. I want you to think about how much would have to go in to

accomplishing a goal like this, how much research, how much development, how much

innovation would have to occur.

A whole lot.

I mean it almost seems like that's a planet that we,

maybe we should just skip over.

Maybe we should not go and try to go to that

that planet maybe somewhere else would be better.

But the plan is there.

The person who has the idea that really wants to do this and is pushing for this

innovation is one of the co-founders of Ocean Gate, it's not a joke. That's really who's behind it. That's really who's behind it. That's all the headlines. That's where that comes from.
