One of the wisest ways to win a war is not from the outside with attack. It's from the inside

via relationships. Don't choose your friends based on whether they affirm or enable your hurt.

Choose your friends based on who seeks to help you deal with and heal from your hurt. A believer outside of a local church is

like a soldier in a war, but outside of an army. But remember, serving in the house of the

Lord isn't like marriage. I'm just going to be in one place forever. No, it's the kingdom. And just like

Paul, God may send you here, then here, then here, then here. Awesome. If it's for the good of the kingdom, and we may not all understand it as it's happening

real time.

But if you've experienced church hurt, don't give up on your calling.

I love my job.

I don't always love my job because part of my job

is doing my best just to give the Lord whatever he asked for. And sometimes that involves hard conversations, not just for you, for me.
