Hello there. I'm Annie Mack and I have a terrible memory like awful. I have been so

freaked out about the fact that I can't remember huge parts of my life that I've

decided to do this podcast to try and get my memory back. So that's what I'm

going to do. Week by week by week I am going to find out my memory God damn it.

I'm going to find out who the hell I was and who the hell I am and who better to help than my family, my friends and some fabulous guests.

So let's start this very first episode of Finding Annie with a memory from my ma, otherwise known as Rosie Mac.

And I know when your dad brought me into a hospital, he announced at the door who you are,

and there was somebody there, came down to get me from the delivery ward.

And I said, it's breach and it's urgent.

You didn't believe me. So anyhow they brought me up when it was

45 minutes from the first to the end from the first little contraction until the delivery and it was 45

minutes of agony and it got worse and worse went on the agony because they just wouldn't believe me.

But then when we got up there they did believe me and they brought me, they had to bring me

straight in because I was screaming and you were born. They didn't have to do

any more cuts or anything. There was nothing like that you were just born. Well. So anyhow you

were born and then as soon as you were born everything was much better.

Of course and the afterbirth came very quickly and your dad came in and I was just going

shaking. I'll never forget it. Yeah. And the nurse came and said don't worry dear you're in shock and that was it. And then they brought in put you beside me and you were a great big baby as you know, nearly 10 pounds.

And you were quiet.

You had a load of black hair, yeah. And you had a big round face and you just didn't really

look like anybody. Everybody always said, who does she look like stayed I couldn't see that you look like anybody

except your little self.
