Well, howdy there internet people? It's Bell again. So today we're going to talk about Trump,

Harris, campaign promises, and basic civics. One of the more entertaining things about presidential elections are some of the campaign

promises that come about. People always talk about how presidential candidates don't live

up to their campaign promises.

Well, yeah.

And the voters should have known they wouldn't be lived up to

when the promises were made.

Here's a good rule.

Aside from the day one executive orders candidates promised to make, most of their promises

aren't actually things they can do, even if they wanted to.

My new favorite example of this is Trump's promise to support changes to the 25th Amendment.

It's funny because it fails a basic logic test and it has exactly zero chance of happening.

If you didn't catch this, Jim, among all of his other bigly

stable genius weaving comments, he said, quote, I will support modifying the 25th Amendment to make clear that if a vice president

lies or engages in a conspiracy to cover up the incapacity of the President of the United

States, if you do that with a cover-up of the

President of the United States, it's grounds for impeachment immediately and

removal from office because that's what they did.

Okay, is he setting Vance up to be impeached?

And that sounds like a joke, but it's not.

It's part of the basic logic test that should be applied to a

candidate's campaign promises. This is clearly meant to be an accusation
