Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk about

Trump and Biden and debt because I've gotten a number of questions about this over the last I don't know three maybe four weeks because

Trump's been out there kind of playing it up and saying that Biden is just spending so much money and giving so much money away and it's

you know it's all bad and making it seem as though Biden is a big source of debt when it comes to the national debt.

So we're going to go over those numbers.

This is 10- year new borrowing.

We will go over the gross numbers as well because I know somebody's going to ask.

But for Trump, during his time, 8.4 trillion.

That's what was added to the debt.

Biden 4.3.

And I know right now somebody's got their hand raised and you're going to say, but COVID, fine, let's take

Trump's COVID relief out of it. That was 3.6 trillion, which leaves him with 4.8 trillion, which is still more than

Biden's 4.3 trillion. But if you're going to take out Trump's COVID relief, you have

to take out Biden's as well. And Biden's was 2.1 trillion, leaving him with 2.2.

So 4.8 to 2.2 or 8.4 to 4.3.

It doesn't matter how you cut it.

Trump added way more, almost double,

than Biden did.

Gross numbers because I know somebody's not going to want to hear the massaged ones.

Trump approved 8.8 trillion of gross new borrowing and 443 billion of deficit reduction.

That's where you get the 8.4 number.

Biden did 6.2 trillion of gross new borrowing and 1.9 trillion of deficit reduction.
