Well, howdy there internet people, let's go again. So today we are going to talk about a New York

City subway station potentially being renamed and some of the commentary that has arisen from that possibility

because a number of messages have come in

and we've got one we're just going to go through

and take it from there because apparently this is a thing I guess.

Okay so here's the message.

Christopher Street Sheridan Square is being renamed Christopher Street Stonewall.

Can you please explain why New York City is doing this other than some weird pride pressure. Do we really need to name a subway stop

after a gay riot? This is why people are saying everything is going woke.

Okay, so just a little bit of quick context.

Stonewwall was a

demonstration, let's call it,

that really in many ways kind of marked the beginning

of the LGBT-plus movement.

Was, for some people, it was a good time,

some might call it a riot. Now as far as I know this isn't actually

finished yet. This isn't something that is definitely going to happen but it is

being discussed. Now the first thing is that it's the state doing it, not the city.

The state legislature has passed it, and currently a time of filming waiting for the

governor to give the go ahead, but that hasn't happened yet. It's expected to, but hasn't yet a

card. Now I think a lot of people's questions would be answered if they used the full name of the new subway station, the new name of it, because it's not Christopher Street Stonewall it's Christopher Street
