Well, howdy there internet people, let's bow again. So today we are going to talk a little

bit about space and a nova, something you will be able to see and realistically for most people watching this

this is kind of your last chance to see it. So we will be talking about a nova as opposed to a supernova which is what most people

are kind of more familiar with that is the end of a star that results in a giant explosion, for lack of a

better word. A NOVA is not the end of a star, it's part of a cycle. In this case, it occurs about every 80 years.

What happens is a white dwarf star pulls in material from a normally red giant and as that material kind of builds up it builds pressure and eventually there's kind of

like a nuclear explosion that shoots stuff off into space you will be able to see it from Earth without a

telescope, your naked eye, and it will appear kind of like a new star and it will last about a week once it occurs.

This is supposed to happen sometime between now and September.

So where will it happen in the Corona Borealis? If you

know most of your constellations that's the little U next to Hercules. Or sometimes it's

described as a C. If you view it as a U this will occur along the bottom from

what I understand. If you have people who are interested in

this topic or maybe you want to spark some curiosity, maybe go out, find it now, get a photo of what it looks like now,

so when the NOVA occurs you can go back to it and kind of compare the two. If you are not good with directions, don't know

anything about this type of stuff, there's an app for that. You can download apps that basically allow you to use your

camera, point it up at the sky, and it will kind of direct you to where you need to

be. So again happens 80 years, roughly 80 years. So if you want to see it, odds are this is your only chance. You won't be

around for the next one. So when this happens we will of course provide an update and let

everybody know but this is just something to put on your right arm because it can happen today through September.

Now in theory it might even take longer but all of the official agencies that track this stuff they say between now and
