Well, howdy there, Internet people, it's Bell again.

So today, we're going to talk about a GOP town hall being derailed by Trump Talk in California.

Representative Doug LaMalfa is a Republican who was elected to represent California's rural north.

It seems like many of those who showed up to his town hall

felt he wasn't actually doing what he was supposed to in D.C.

He, like a handful of other Republicans,

who have disobeyed the advice from Republican strategists,

saying to avoid town halls,

found out why that advice was given.

Many of those ignoring the advice come from safe red areas.

Lamalfa won 66% of the vote in 2024.

But oh, what a difference a few months and a vote for Trump's big

beautiful for billionaire's bill makes. He had barely finished his introduction when the

interrupting booze began. They really didn't stop for an hour and a half. Most of the people

seem to be angry about the effects of Trump's

policies on Medicaid, the ACA, rural hospitals, and other healthcare related issues.

Lamalfa tried to say it was just fraud, waste, and abuse. And that just seemed to make the

crowd more angry. Not just did he cut their access

to health care. He seemed to believe they were ignorant as well. This was the point when the
