So today we're going to talk about 60 minutes,

Harris showing up, and Trump blowing it off.

On Monday, the Vice President continued the decades long American

tradition of candidates from a major party sitting down with 60 minutes for an

interview. Trump didn't show. 60 minutes minutes is that it looks like he just trumped it up.

According to the explanation, first he was upset that they were going to fact check him.

Then he said he needed an apology for a 2020 interview he did with 60 minutes, which ended

when he threw a temper tantrum and left mid-interview.

Nothing says presidential like walking out on an interview and then holding a grudge for four years.

Undoubtedly he'll now say they were unfair for giving Harris time when he wouldn't show. So what about the candidate that

showed up? Not a lot of fireworks, again kind of boring with some light fluff and then a few segments that might be of real

interest to voters. When it comes to domestic issues Harris came out as a border

hawk.

She pointed to Republican obstruction over the last couple of years

as the reason for there not being new legislation.

She said, quote, it's a longstanding problem and solutions are at hand and from day one,

literally we have been offering solutions.

When she was asked how she planned on getting Congress to support her budget, which requires a tax increase

on people who donate to Congress.

She said she didn't want to have a narrow view of the options and

reiterated that she is a capitalist. On the foreign policy side of things, she raised eyebrows with her answers to the questions
