but I am going to give you a few minutes at the beginning to make sure that you've got a little time to catch up on dishes

these deeper cleaning tasks. And maybe you're the type of person who kind of has clean

dishes in your drying rack perpetually or whatever. I encourage you to empty that out because

when I'm expecting guests, I like to have an empty drying rack. That way, if somebody goes to help me do dishes, there's a place to put those clean dishes. It also just makes the kitchen look better when there's not as much visual clutter, even though clean dishes aren't really clutter per se when they're

where they go in the drying rack. I actually put them away when I'm having company. That allows me to

make sure that my drying rack is clean, which if you're wondering why it's not perpetually clean,

it is clean, but the tray under it gets mineral deposits because we have extremely hard water.

So I like to scrub that bottom tray and add a little bit of white vinegar to my dish soap and get rid of any mineral deposits on that.
