That's 1st Timothy 4 versus 11 to 16.

Command and teach these things.

Let no one despise you for your youth. But set the believers an example

in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of scripture, to exhortation, to teaching.

Do not neglect the gift you have which was given you by a prophecy when Council of Elders laid their hands on you.

Practice these things.

Devote yourself to them so that all may see your progress.

Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in

this for by doing so you will save both yourself and your hearers.

Let's pray.

Father, some children, who are mentally handicapped or physically handicapped will never lead the lives their parents dreamed for them.

Ever, until the end comes.

They'll be six months old all their lives or two in a chair, in a bed. The parents never, never planned it, never dreamed it, and it is their calling

now till they're dead.

Our vision for youth covers them.

The hand we are dealt is seldom the one we ask for in this life.

You are wise and often our portion is painful and parenting is among the greatest pain and pleasure.

So as we launch into this series

on a vision for the next generation,

seed it with everything good.
