Welcome to another guided prayer.

I'm Judah and want to lead you today in a very specific type of prayer.

But I gotta tell you, it's not easy, but God will help us.

In the New Testament, there is a specific type of prayer that is prayer for our enemies,

praying for those who have hurt us, used us, spitefully worked against us.

We are to pray for our enemies.

So today, if you're up for it, there is no shame in skipping to a different prayer today because perhaps this is a bit much. But for those

with the strength necessary granted by God, join me now in a prayer for our enemies.

Almost undoubtedly by now, as we are just moving into the beginning of this prayer, faces and names are already coming to you.

What are they?

The people who have opposed you.

Hurt you.

Gossiped.

Spread lies and rumors.

And perhaps even hurt maybe you are the ones you love. Enemies. The scripture says pray for.

Bless them. Here's a little caveat in the prayer for your enemies as we continue. Oftentimes

when you pray for your enemies, you realize more energy and strength to forgive your enemies.

What a gift.

So let's pray.

God, I first want to start by saying thank you for giving me the opportunity, the invitation,

to pray for my enemies.
