Summary

0:22.0	Welcome to our Tuesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.
0:25.0	Today I'm continuing to teach about the life of Joseph.
0:30.0	You know, I've got three different series that I've done. One on the life of Elijah and one on the life of David.
0:37.0	So David, Elijah and Joseph have been major influences in my life teaching me the way that the Kingdom of God works and how God responds to people and works with people.
0:50.0	And Joseph is just one of the greatest examples I've gotten in my life.
0:56.0	So yesterday I gave kind of an introduction to this. I haven't got time to go back through all of that.
1:01.0	But we started in Genesis chapter 37, is where the story of Joseph started.
1:07.0	And Joseph was 17 years old when he had two dreams.
1:12.0	And he later told Pharaoh that anytime two different dreams are making the same point in those dreams were dreams that came from God.
1:20.0	It's because the thing is established and it can't be changed.
1:24.0	So God gave Joseph two dreams.
1:27.0	In one dream Joseph was with his brothers and they were binding sheaves and Joseph's sheaves stood upright and all of his brothers sheaves bowed down to him.
1:39.0	And he told his dream and boy his brothers hated him for this.
1:42.0	They already hated him because he was the favorite son of Jacob and he made him a coat of many colors and preferred him above the other brothers.
1:51.0	So they already had envy and jealousy against him and by the fact that he had this dream that they were going to someday bow down to him that made them even more jealous.
2:01.0	And then he had a second dream and it was the same point that not only his brothers but his father and mother would bow down to him.
2:09.0	And because of this the people just got mad at him.
2:13.0	Now before I go on with this story let me just emphasize how important it is that God gave Joseph these two dreams.
