These past two years and a half have been especially stressful as painful memories were rekindled.

In 1941, I was three and a half years old.

My family was forced from our home in Romania to Ukraine.

We were hurted into a concentration camp, essentially left to starve.

The Holocaust did not begin in the gas chambers of Auschwitz or Treblinka.
