This week on the pod Dan had a chance to sit down with the legendary Hull of Fame sports

writer and broadcaster Leslie Visser.

This woman is a pioneer who has done so much in these sports broadcasting business.

And she has a remarkable story.

And considering that there were probably not a ton of role models, she tells Dan in this

interview that she wanted to be a sports writer from age nine and Dan kind of walks her

through some of her notable achievements in the world of sports broadcasting.

Leslie on your list of firsts, you were the first to do many things in this industry.

You want to go through your list of firsts with us?

Well I was the first woman ever to go down the Olympic Bob sled.

Is that on there?

I don't have that on my list.

No, I was thinking more of journalism things that didn't involve a Bob sled.

Well the Bob sled was journalism because it was the Olympics in Albertville, France,

when Prince Albert was on the team.

So and he would introduce himself.
