I have a couple announcements before the show.

Recently I was at a music show where a friend of mine strummed

while he introduced himself and he said a few words at the top of his set

and it really added a nice warm up mood to things things so here's some strumming.

First I've changed the name of the show to Rumble Strip from Rumble Strip Vermont.

I did it because though the show mostly features the excellent people of

Vermont it is not expressly about this place sometimes it is but usually it's

not so in order to invite more listeners into the listening I have dropped the word from the title

But nothing else about the show is changing and Vermont will still be on the bumper stickers I send out because I just bought a huge box

of bumper stickers. The last thing, if you like the show and you want to donate, now would be a really good time. Two of the shows I'm working

on now require at least two trips to New York,

and I could really use donations to help with the travel expenses.

I don't want to say what these shows are yet, but I'm very excited about them.

They'll be sublime, where I'll try to make them sublime, and one of them involves Benedict

Arnold's leg. So there's just a lot to look forward to. Today's show is from an article written by Sarah Miller and it appeared in Food and Wine.com.
