I'm Jim DeWergottis and I'm Greg Kott but first we have new albums by Lucius and Warpaint to review.

That is a track called Next to Normal from the 4th studio album from Lucius's second nature.

A 4-piece band Lucius is but the core is two women, Holly Lessig and Jess Wolfe.

You know they met at Berkeley College of Music. They started releasing Music in 2009.

Their first full-length studio album came out at that time. Then a good grief, 2016.

It's been a while to concoct this next record, this 4th studio record. They haven't been idle though,

they've been, I mean they are, I think Holly, less again Jess Wolfe are two of the most

in demand backing vocalists of the last decade plus. They spent a goodly amount of time doing

stadium tours with Roger Waters as backing vocalists. When we got to give their whole CV,

Roger Waters, Cheryl Crow, Harry Styles and Ozzy Ozzy.

I was born the War on Drugs, Brandy Carlyle. I mean this goes on. Incredible really.

Here's the new record. We're going to play a track from it before we review it.

It was produced by Dave Cobb, the Nashville Ace and Brandy Carlyle. So a couple of big names

working on this one. It's called Second Nature. The track we're going to play is called

Promises from Lucius Unsoundipates.

That is Promises from the new Lucius album Second Nature. There's kind of this overly precious

super museo mentality. I mean there's no way you can actually like Harry Styles, Cheryl Crow,

Ozzy Ozborn and Roger Waters. I mean there's gigs for higher. We're great musicians we get hired
