Greg generally speaking we've avoided talking to album cover artists because

But I think Steve keen has been such a presence on the indie rock underground as well as a fine artist

That we just had to talk about the Steve keen art book the first beautifully printed collection of his work

Plus it was put out by hat and beard press our old friend from Chicago JC Gabel

And you know how hard it is to say no to JC. So I said okay, I'll talk man

I'll talk to Steve and Steve just had wonderful stories and he's an inspiring story

He does his work. He buys a hundred sheets of four by eight plywood at a time and chop some up

And those are his canvases. He estimated that as of last year

He has sold or given away and he gives away as many paintings as he sells

300,000 paintings as well as
