0:58.4	with you today. Oh, it's my pleasure. So how did you become a sports agent?
1:03.8	I was going to University of California, Berkeley, at a very tumultuous time in our history. And I was
1:12.9	student body president when Ronald Reagan was governor. And we would go out and protest. He would
1:19.3	crack down. Anyway, I learned everything I ever needed to know about negotiating from dealing
1:25.7	with governor than President Reagan.
1:28.5	I was a grad counselor in an undergraduate dorm, working my way through law school,
1:36.0	and they moved the freshman football team into the dorm, and one of those students
1:40.9	ended up being the quarterback Steve Bartkowski.
1:47.0	And so I graduated from law school in 73, took a year and a half off to travel around the world, and it got to be early
1:54.3	1975, and Steve Bartkowski had been the very first player selected in the first round of the National Football League draft, and it was a big blue-eyed blonde from my alma mater.
2:09.2	And he asked me to represent them.
2:11.2	So there I was brimming, again, with legal experience.
