0:52.3	Let me introduce our panel. Ben Allen is a California State
0:55.7	Senator representing the 26th Senate District, the West Side, Hollywood, coastal South Bay
1:01.5	communities. He chairs the Senate's Environmental Quality Committee. Dominic Hargreaves is the Deputy
1:07.5	Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Los Angeles.
1:11.4	Prior to joining the Garcetti administration, she served as LA Executive Director of the U.S. Green Building Council.
1:18.9	Gary Giro was appointed L.A. County's first chief sustainability officer in November of 2016.
1:26.1	He was previously the president of the Climate Action Reserve and now
1:29.6	serves as vice chair on its board of directors. Sydney Kamlogger was elected to the California
1:36.5	Senate last month representing District 30, which encompasses Central and Western Los Angeles County
1:43.4	and USC, her alma mater.
1:46.1	She previously served in the State Assembly representing the 54th District.
1:50.7	I'm going to start out with a general question that each of you can answer in turn.
1:57.0	What is the most pressing climate change challenge California faces in the coming decade?
