Let me introduce our panel. Ben Allen is a California State

Senator representing the 26th Senate District, the West Side, Hollywood, coastal South Bay

communities. He chairs the Senate's Environmental Quality Committee. Dominic Hargreaves is the Deputy

Chief Sustainability Officer for the City of Los Angeles.

Prior to joining the Garcetti administration, she served as LA Executive Director of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Gary Giro was appointed L.A. County's first chief sustainability officer in November of 2016.

He was previously the president of the Climate Action Reserve and now

serves as vice chair on its board of directors. Sydney Kamlogger was elected to the California
