| 0:39.0 | today. As all of our listeners are aware one of my favorite subjects for |
| 0:43.4 | stories is the paranormal which involves a wide number of subjects from UFOs to |
| 0:48.2 | ghosts, portals, strange places and cryptos like Bigfoot and Goatman to |
| 0:53.5 | unexplained events and unsolved mysteries. For armchair adventure these subjects |
| 0:58.4 | are hard to top but there's a growing number of people who have been taken |
| 1:01.6 | the next step actually seeking adventure and thrills and traveling to the |
| 1:06.1 | sites where paranormal events or strange sightings and occurrences have taken |
| 1:09.6 | place and these few hearty souls are called legend trippers. Now I just called |
| 1:15.2 | them hearty souls but there are many different types of legend trippers. Some |
| 1:19.5 | legend trippers are adolescents with healthy curiosities seeking a right of |
| 1:23.1 | passage into maturity by experiencing what many would consider frightening |
| 1:26.5 | visits to scary places in their locales. Every town has its legends from the |
| 1:31.6 | haunted vacant house on Elm Street to the place where someone it is rumored |
| 1:35.6 | died an unexpected and gruesome death. Then there's the new legend |
| 1:39.5 | trippers, families, parents and kids just out for a day of adventure with |
| 1:44.5 | maybe a little history thrown in or trying to make a boring road trip a little |
| 1:48.3 | more exciting and educational. What I'm covering today is a mix of places |
| 1:52.5 | in the U.S. mostly family rated that have a little history or story |
| 1:56.3 | attached just to give you some ideas. We'll follow up in a couple of weeks |
