The events of Westminster last night brought us about as close to the collapse of the Theresa May government than ever we have been. And she's not out of the woods yet. As we entered day two of the Prime Minister's rather ill-judged PR campaign to save the Brexit bill,

she looks more and more like a busted flush, past her sell-by-day and in over her head. As a result

of one of the amendments voted in Parliament last night by several

former cabinet members of her own party, not only will she risk the entire Brexit deal if she

loses a debate next Tuesday, but she could actually be unseated herself if MPs take control

of the House. I told you at the start of this week that we would be keeping you abreast of all the

twists and turns in Westminster, but even I didn't expect it to fall apart

quite so spectacularly as it seems to have done.

The Tory faithful are diminishing with every hour that passes, as is the likelihood of a no-deal

Brexit.

In fact, as I have been telling you all along, the chances of Brexit now not happening at all

have increased substantially in the last 24 hours.
