Well, I suppose it had to happen.

But who knew he was going to be one of the most senior judicial figures in the European Union? In the last hour, the European Court of Justice

Advocate General Campos Sanchez Bordogne has thrown a hand grenade into the Brexit process

by saying the UK can unilaterally revoke Article 50 and effectively halt the entire thing.

Naturally, the remains have grabbed onto this surprise proposition like a drowning man clinging on to a life raft,

pointing out that here finally is the proof that Brexit needn't happen, that it shouldn't happen,

and that we can stop it happening.
