It's easy to understand how toxic and bad that is, if not evil. Yet here we are at a crossroads in world history, and we're being led toward precisely that pit. There's a popular line out there now that goes something like this: "the Left wants power, and conservatives don't. That's why conservatives always lose." The implication is that conservatives should also desire (or covet) power. This line adopts the Left's relationship to power and fails to articulate the healthier relationship to power embraced by conservatives: that of faithful service to others, which conservatives often gladly shoulder. 1:00.1	Woke sounds hollow and shrill and goofy, even as they try to double down into it in the various places.
1:06.8	You see major CEOs that were very anti-Trump suddenly kissing ass. This is a sea change.
1:15.4	Okay. And so that means power is on the table. And you're going to see a lot of people in the coming
1:22.3	already since transition is already organizing things. But in the coming weeks and months,
1:28.5	and well into the first year of Trump's administration and likely afterwards, chasing power.
1:34.7	And there's a very powerful line, a very powerful narrative on the right, which I sometimes
1:40.7	refer to as at least being woke right adjacent, if not it's not woke right outright,
1:47.5	which is about power because the woke right,
1:49.8	like the woke left,
1:50.6	covets power.
1:51.8	They desire power.
1:53.1	And so there's a very popular line.
