We've seen so many people step up over the last few months, or maybe even year, year

and a half, for two reasons. The elections and the way it turned out,

the things that are going on in America with the Democrats in charge, and of course we are post-COVID.

One of the common factors we see pretty much in every community in the United States is local

people that have dedicated their life to something else saying, it's time for me to do something

for the public good, whether it was the former Appleby

CEO running for mayor of Overland Park or a stay-at-home mom running for her local school board.

Politicians are jumping in. Dr. Oz is leaving Hollywood and running for Senate in Pennsylvania.

We have all these different people who've never thought about being political,

never really been a servant to the people or somebody who works for the state. They never

wanted to be part of the political machine, didn't want to be part of the deep state. But they've

seen what's happened in this country. And they've pivoted and made a move and said,

you know what, I feel a calling.

I should go do this.

If I can make a difference, I want to.

We see it everywhere.

One such person lives right here in Kansas City.

Her name, and I met her a couple of weeks ago at the Jackson County Republican dinner, is Rachel Aguirre.

She is running for Missouri State Senate in the 8th District. That's interesting enough. But know this. Rachel's a dedicated lifetime
