And unfortunately, the news of the week has been more who is not playing than who has been.

And capped off by yesterday's news that LeBron will be re-evaluated in three to four weeks with a

sciatica issue, putting him out for at least the Lakers' first five to ten games, if not longer.

D, earlier in the week, we recorded a pod titled Building Without Braun that was more geared,

at least in my mind, at least, toward getting through training camp in the preseason

and getting to a point where you're ready to hit the ground running when the regular season starts.

Now we know that LeBron will not be ready for the start of the season.

And it sort of clarifies some things.

What was your reaction to the news of LeBron being out?

Man, multi-layered on. Just sucks for LeBron. And he's obviously even less healthy

than what was perceived to be. It's interesting because the joy and sort of enthusiasm

he had on Media Day quickly pivoted to,
