a series of the world. I'm John Bachelor joined by Jonathan Shanser, Vice President,

Foundation for Defense of democracies democracies to sort through the diplomatic

information we're getting from the Middle East to do with the war in the North.

This is Hezbollah. This is an organization that works directly for the Islamic

Republic of Tehran. It's armed with hundreds of thousands of missiles of all types,

some of it very accurate.

We're now looking at the diplomatic efforts

by many sides to either stop this war from happening or solve the difficulties of the

IDF staring at a threat that there has to be turned off but it can only be turned off in Tehran.

Defense Minister Jov Galat in the United States met with U.S. envoy on Lebanon, Amos Hochstein to discuss, quote,

what actions are required in order to reach a situation which allows the northern residents to return to their homes.

This conversation took place in Washington.

Up to 100,000 Israelis have been dishomed for eight months and that's unacceptable. That means you're no longer

sovereign over your own territory. At the same time, the chairman of the joint

chiefs of staff, Air Force General CQ Brown on his way overseas said that, quote,

it is unlikely that America can provide the security umbrella

Israel needs in the event of war similar to what we saw earlier

when the US participated with Jordan and

others in stopping the barrage from Iran. Thirdly I believe the Secretary of

Defense Mr. Austin has said similar remarks. However, all of this adds up to the
