Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on talk radio as Boris Johnson prepares for a pretty pointless meeting with Angela Merkel today in Berlin

after being told yesterday in no uncertain terms by Donald Tusk that the backstop stays

and it can never be removed from the

withdrawal agreement. The best Boris can expect is for the German Chancellor to do a lot of

nodding and smiling when he tells her that Parliament cannot stop a no-deal Brexit. After that,

he's going to have some even more pointless conversations with French President Emmanuel Macron

tomorrow. We'll be having a very meaningful conversation instead here in Talk Radio Towers

with Brexit Party MEP Lance Foreman, who's going to tell us how concerned he is about the rest

of the withdrawal agreement and how, I believe, and probably so does he, that the whole thing

needs to be scrapped. And, of course, we want to have even more meaningful conversations with
