Summary

After spending ten years directly with major pharmaceutical companies followed by years in corporate consulting, Amanda Foley found herself climbing the ladder of success while feeling increasingly disconnected from her true purpose. The turning point came during a period of intense burnout when she was billing sixty hours a week managing a significant client account, only to experience relief when that client was acquired by a larger pharmaceutical company. Rather than immediately pursuing another demanding project, Amanda made the courageous decision to take nine months away from the relentless pace of corporate life, a choice her mind initially resisted but her soul desperately needed.

what was it that made you realize that that world wasn't the full expression of who you were

as a human and as a professional? Yeah, so I spent about 20 years working in healthcare communications. So like as you said,

about 10 years working directly for big companies. And then for most of my time after that,

I actually ended up in corporate consulting. So I've sort of had like three phases of my career
