I want to talk to you tonight about learning, learning, and specifically learning God's ways.

The Bible says that God's ways are not our ways, that his thoughts are not our thoughts.

And so if we are going to be changed, if we're going to grow, if we're going to mature,

we have to unlearn the things of the world

so that we can learn God's ways. In fact, learning God's ways is actually unlearning the world's

ways. Amen? Me and Blue were talking right before service and we were praying about a friend,

and we thought about the illustration of the on

button on an iPhone. You know how there's a button designated to turning on the iPhone and you can

push the volume button as much as you want to try to turn on the iPhone. It's not going to turn on

because of the design, right?

And we have to let go of what we think is going to work, what we think is going to switch

our life over and start pushing the right button. Because if we continue to push the wrong

button thinking that we're going to get a change, that is insanity. That's crazy. And also,

we're going to hurt the volume button. And then we won't be able to hear. And so what we're

going to do tonight is we're going to take our finger off the wrong button and start pushing

the right button. So we can actually learn the things of God. Amen? Amen. And we always need a reminder to turn off our phones.

So we're going to be in Ecclesiastes chapter 1, 12 through 18.
