Heisman Trophy winner and NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Tim Brown and Super Bowl champion

quarterback Jeff Hosteller.

First up is Tim Brown, a football player whose career spanned a record-breaking 17 years in the NFL.

Tim's motivation to succeed in life and in football was greatly driven by a desire to reconcile

with his father after a misunderstanding between

them that happened when Tim was only 12 years old, drove them apart for years.

Tim recalls his early days with his family and that life-changing moment with his father that would define his path for over a decade.

I played 17 years in NFL.

We grew up in South Dallas.

My two holder, it was four of us, four kids and parents living in a two bedroom place, duplex.

And the neighborhood was really bad.

All these cuts and scars on my face all happened

while I was before I was six, seven years old. I mean, you know, one is I found a bullet and I had a hammer, decided bullets should they meet hammer, and you know.

I mean just all kinds of things happened.
