One of the challenges that abuse survivors face

is healing from wounds that other Christians have

inflicted on them using the Bible as a weapon and certain verses. And in my book

isn't me making sense of your confusing, I talk a little bit of I call it Christian

propaganda, the propaganda machine that's used to actually keep women believing that they need to be, you know, that it's okay that they're

oppressed and subjugated in some cases and that that's like that can be a thing

that can actually bring glory to God and they and so they say stuck because

of the way some of these verses have been interpreted or taught from the pulpit. And I haven't really seen very many abuse survivors

that have just given up on their faith,
