This week on the podcast, it's another repeat from a few years ago where Chris and Jared are

talking about this idea that you're not going to know everything when you start something,

that there's inevitably going to be this learning process along the way. And it's going to

take time to fully understand the environment that you're working in. It's an important lesson to be reminded of as you start working in a new place or start

working on a new thing that you might not have ever done before.

What were you thinking about?

I just keep on thinking about how hard it is

for people in general, including ourselves,

to consistently remember why we do things.

And we always talk about missions, visions, values, right?

Things like that. But it's like,

really easy to forget that that is actually the point.

And then everything to like to consistently filter it through those lenses

allows you to make decisions and

it's just easy to kind of get into the day to day because there's all the small decisions that are

really oftentimes don't need to be hyper focused on like that secondary level of focus uh the

secondary level of consideration where you're like whatever something needs to get ordered this is what we

order so i'm just like that's most of your life is living in i order this i clean that i bring this in

i schedule that and 90% of that stuff because we've done the work beforehand you don't need to
