Because in many ways, you need no introduction. Because I think everyone, first of all, my friends,

my family, my followers, my listeners, they've all heard about you. They have all heard me talk

about you. They have seen me post about you. And they've started asking me questions about you.

Oh my gosh. So on one hand, you need no introduction. On the other hand, I don't even know how to

possibly introduce you. You are a professor. Yes. You are a public speaker. You are an author. You are...

This is what happens when you get old. Okay. The list gets very, very long. I am all those things.

I mean, I'm, and yet I'm also just a friend and I'm a mom and I'm Pierre's mother. And the other day we were doing actually playing an identity game with, I was playing with a bunch of friends. And I was saying to them, okay, what's the first word that comes to your mouth or your mind when I say, I am? So you just have to fill in the blank. I am. And it was really interesting to hear what people

had to say. Like, you know, I am a New Yorker. One person said. And another person said, I am an advocate. This is a person who's super involved in social justice. And we ran around the table. And then they got to me and said, well, what is it, Susie? And I said, I guess I would say I am a teacher. I mean, I think that kind of sums up it all.

I mean, that's what I'm doing when I'm writing.

That's what I'm doing when I'm public speaking. That's what I'm doing in the classroom. And I don't think I started my life as a teacher. I was a big learner and I still am, a voracious kind of just absorber of other people and what're what they've to teach, which is so much.

But that's sort of the umbrella. I love it. Okay. I'm stumped now trying to think of what I am. Yeah. So what is it? That's hard. It really is the question of like, how do we identify ourselves? Who are we? To us. I'm going to add it into my class activities. Yeah. Just this one word and you can't fudge it, one word.

That's so hard. You know what people do it? They do it on their Instagram profiles. So I'm always, I'm obsessed with Instagram profiles. Bios. The bios. It's like I am, you know, it's so funny to see what order they put them in. There's a lot of performative stuff going on. So it's not really authentic because people are trying to.
