One of the departments that salespeople can come from and maybe even should come from is the service department customer service.

0:10.0

And today we have somebody who's got their start in customer service and built it into being a sales development rep and then now a sales development manager.

0:20.0

And I think you're going to get a lot out of this interview because this person grew up in Malta, which I had to Google.

0:30.0

I didn't know where it was. It's right off of Sicily and Italy.

0:35.0

And I don't know why anyone would move from there, but he did.

0:40.0

And he has a great perspective on this. Afterwards, he did warn me that he felt like he talked too much, but I think it was just passion.

0:49.0

And he wanted to rerecord it, but I really liked what he said.

0:54.0

And I wanted it to be unrehearsed and organic and not rehearsed and polished.

1:02.0

You may have a different feeling about it, but I think with podcasting, it's different than most medias where it's not staged, it's not framed, it's not rehearsed, it's organic.

1:16.0

And from that organicness, you get the authentic person instead of that polished salesy person.

1:27.0

So you can judge for yourself, but his perspective on connecting with the other person, understanding what the other person's going through, engaging and building conversations with them, I think that's incredible.

1:41.0

Let's get into it. I think you'll like it. I'll sum it up at the end, and I'll also give you an update on the office hours we had yesterday.

1:48.0

I think we had some important breakthroughs there.

1:51.0

So if you're in, start the conversation, get the meeting, make sure you're checking out the office hours, the second to the last chapter, the last chapter is the one-on-ones, which is pure gold.

2:01.0

Also, check out our friends over at ScratchPads. ScratchPads the easiest, funnest way to update your CRM, get your manager off your back and increase your revenue.

2:11.0

Think about it. If you could save a half hour a week, which isn't a lot of time when you see how hard it is to update the CRM the way it needs to be, should be, the manager wants it to be.

2:24.0

What if you could cut that half hour? Now, you multiply that by, let's say, 50, that's 25 hours. Is that right? Is my math right? That's a lot of time.

2:38.0

That's a lot of time. Imagine getting those hours back. Imagine getting them in December when you need them most, or whatever the last month of the year is for you.

2:48.0

And you're over your number, you're in accelerators, and you have all that time to close deals. Your productivity is up to you.

2:57.0

Yeah, I mean, management keeps putting more and more admin, data entry, requirements on us. We have to find smarter, faster ways of getting it done.

3:09.0
