I don't often agree with the reasoning of Chief Justice John Roberts, but he was absolutely right in saying that the leak of a draft opinion that would strike down row was a singular and egregious breach of trust.

The leaker not only struck a blow against the rule of law,

but put pro-life advocates squarely in the crosshairs of pro-abortion extremists.

Extremists who not only promote abortion up until the moment of birth, but push for legislation

that would make allowances for even infanticide. I thought deeply about all of this, not all

that long ago, in light of watching our

newest grandson's physical development via the marvel of ultrasound technology, along

with the rest of my family, I shudder at the reality that millions just like, just like this baby have been torn limb from limb, within the sacred sanctuary of their mother's wounds.

Last night, the urgency of that reality was pressed upon me once again through the enlightened

commentary of a mother named Candace Owens. Owens now seven and a half months pregnant was reflecting

on the genocide of black pre-born babies in America.

She was reflecting on the reality that Margaret Sanger, the birth mother of plant

parenthood, didn't want black people to populate.

That black women comprise around 7% of the American population, but account for some 40% of all abortions.

That if it wasn't for the abortion industry, the black population would be double what it is today.

That's some 18 to 19 million black babies have been aborted since Roe. Cumulatively, Americans now have sacrificed somewhere between 60 and 65 million children

on the altar of abortion, each one with dramatic and wonderful potentiality. Lives snuffed out all too soon. And yet in the name of progress,

pro-abortionists are even screaming today about equality. That if a woman is forced to carry her baby to full term, she could not

compete equally with a male counterpart in the workplace. That in the name of equality, she must

be provided the latitude to abort. Of course, if he carried this out to its logical conclusion,

this equality argument would apply equally to abandonment.
