It was a division that we enjoyed a lot last season.

I think it's fair to say we're pretty enthused with it this year as well.

great to see. And League 2, doing my research, I think we've known all summer that League 1 looks

incredibly competitive. The championship, maybe not so much, but I was surprised when doing my

League 2 prep how strong a division it looks to me.

One of my sort of themes, I think, from doing my research for League 2 is we've got a nice

balance, a battle, if you will, between rookie managers, the likes of Matthew Taylor at

Walsall, Hayden Mullins at Colchester, Rob Edwards at Forest Green, but also some very experienced

campaigners. Kenny Jacket is managing in League 2 for the first time since 2005. We've also

got Keith Curler, Oldham, Nigel Clough at Mansfield, Mickey Mellon back at Tranmere, and even

Mark Cooper, who is the Barrow manager now, has a lot of experience at this level.

The last few years, we've seen a lot of young rookie managers succeeding in League 2.

Look no further than Mark Bonner, of course, who achieved an astounding promotion with Cambridge last season.
