But Welsh, I think we've got to start off with a little bit of history from Jacob de Grom.

He faced basically, you know, a lineup that allowed eight strikeouts to him against Seth Diwald's Cardinals. So he was not too happy about that. Our producer, Seth, but we're going to lead with it anyway today. The only two pitchers of Major League Baseball history to win 100 plus games while losing fewer than 70 in their first 260 games. It's him and Garrett Cole.

So that's a fun fact right there.

There are some weird things we pointed out yesterday on Jacob de Grom's year.

He's also 0-and-4 with four-no decisions against American League clubs with a 505 ERA,

but he's really good against National League teams, which is kind of funny and strange.

He's 4-0 with just two runs in 23 and two-thirds innings against NL teams.
