Opportunities outside of clinical medicine, and I'm really pleased to have one of my good friends and a repeat guest here on Behind the Night, Dr. Bradley, Jason Van.

So we are actually going to talk a little bit outside of kind of the normal routine things that we talked in the past.

And it's really about, you know, what are their opportunities essentially inside of medicine, inside of surgery,

but more along the lines of leadership. And can you talk a little bit about, you know, in addition to being a busy colorectal surgeon, your role of what it stands right now as chief medical officer of a large hospital.

Yeah, yeah, for sure. Yeah, I think the, you know, sometimes, you know, our further this is kind of accidental leadership.

And currently at the moment, I know my primary leadership job is as chief medical officer of Fairview Hospital.

It's a Cleveland Clinic's West region kind of hub hospital and about 450, 500 bit hospital.

And you know, prior to that, I was at a leadership job here at the clinic out west side as well as a department chair for our surgery.

And then within our institute, I lead DDSI for all operations for our West region.

So it's kind of just a combination of leadership jobs.

And it really kind of evolved from having a career in surgery and education prior to that.

So Brad, one of the things about any job opportunity, especially that leadership is that feeling of, do I have the skill set to be able to do that?

So as you progress in the long and that, you know, tell us a little bit about that journey and it was this on the job training.

Is this something that you need to have an MBA for? I mean, what is your thoughts on that matter?

Yeah, it's a great question. You know, I think I don't think it was a form of law.

You know, I think I just sat at out of the gate.
