Support Team. Okay, let's look at Proverbs chapter 29 verse 18. It says where there is

no prophetic vision that people cast off restraint. Some versions will say the people perish.

The blessed is he who keeps the law. Okay, so don't let that word prophetic vision. Don't

let that idea throw you off here. You see, in Solomon's day, the prophets and the priests

were the spiritual leaders of the nation. And while the king was intended and even expected

to be a spiritual leader as well, it wasn't primarily the king who is the one who stayed

connected with God. It was the prophets and it was the priests. And so this passage is telling

is where there's no effective spiritual leadership. It's going to be a bad deal for the people

who those leaders are leading. You see, the people are going to cast off restraint. They're

not going to pay attention to the way God wants things done. We see this in the Old Testament,
