Tensions are high as we navigate one of the most contentious elections in US history. In this episode, I'll share my thoughts on how to navigate this time and what may be most needed from us more than anything else.

1:18.2 | specific political beliefs and instead continue to stay aligned with the qualities of mind and heart that I think are most important for us to grow as individuals that aid in our choice and political candidate and how we build communities |
1:38.9 | and how we take care of our planet and world. |
1:43.0 | And I will continue to stick with that in this episode. |
1:47.4 | And the thing I want to say is that regardless of who is leading our country, we will still need to continue to lead ourselves. |
2:01.0 | There is no replacement for the inner work. |
2:05.0 | It's very important, in my opinion, to look at external leadership. |
2:11.0 | It plays a very big role in the safety of other people, opportunity |
2:18.3 | for all people, rectifying injustices, and helping to create a society that as many of us as possible are excited to live within and live into. |
2:33.0 | And while effective healthy leadership |
2:37.0 | can inspire us to do inner work, |
2:41.0 | can inspire us to nurture parts of ourselves that will contribute to a healthy society and the goodness of our own life and the life of others and life of our planet, we still have |
2:57.1 | to do that inner work. No one can walk that journey for us. |
3:03.9 | And so we all hold the seeds for compassion, |
3:08.4 | love, understanding, attunement, deep listening, healthy boundaries, |
3:16.0 | and selflessness, |
