Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend that hosts Steve Robertson here on the magnificent Monday edition of the yard. It's happening to be recorded on Sunday afternoon. I told you guys on Friday I had some personal plans that I'm going to take care of this evening that will require me to travel out of town. So I won't be back in time to record. I didn't want you to have to wait until Monday afternoon or evening. So I wanted to have to record this, too. Plus, we had Mike Leach yesterday, so I wanted to recap some of what coach had to say. then welcome to the work week a lot going on I tell you it's one of those things where

I've been so anxious I guess and not anxious in a negative way where I'm like nervous or anything

but I've been so anxious for us to get into some semblance of a football routine. That's one of the things that I love

about, you know, our work in season for football is it's pretty regimented. You know, we used to get,

you know, the coaches on Monday, offensive players Tuesday, defensive players Wednesday, and then

Thursday, you know, you're writing your game preview, and in Friday you're on the road covering a high school football game, and then Saturday you've, you've, you've, you know, you're writing your game preview and in Friday you're on the road

covering a high school football game. And then Saturday you've got a college game, Sunday, a day to wrap

it all up, and then we start to get on Monday. And so I always like the fact that everything is just

kind of, you know, planned for us. It makes it a lot easier to find something

to write about. So we have done our best to navigate through this quarantine and this absence of

college sporting activity. It's best we can. I am proud of the job that we have done. Matter of fact,

our numbers, believe it or not, our numbers year over year are better than they ever have been.

Even though we've had an absence of college sports, maybe it's because of the fact there's not as much going on.
