Ladies and gentlemen, if you're not one of those people who's been turning off the news since November, you may have noticed increasing amounts of comments among those who practice the political arts about what the

Democrats have been doing wrong, what they did wrong in this particular election, particularly.

You know, she should have gone on Joe Rogan.

I think I've said before in this program, this is consultants and strategists

auditioning, that is, for their next job with a candidate by showing how thinly they can

slice the political salami.

I have a slightly different view of things.

What the problem the Democrats have found themselves in, I think, is based on the fact that they purport to be

the party of the, quote, working people, unquote, but they're not getting the majority of their

money, their contributions, as they used to, from labor, which, for better or or not represents working people.

That all started, of course, back in the days of the Vietnam War, look up hard hats versus long hares.

But here we are. You know, it's okay.

It's the one kind of corporation that gives to Democrats and another kind of corporation

that gives to Republicans.

It's the battle of the corporations, in other words.

So, you know, every once in a while, the Democrats let their pet progressive Bernie Sanders

out just to talk about stuff that would

maybe appeal to working people. But that's about it. Neither Bill Clinton nor Barack Obama

nor Joe Biden made the slightest effort at, let alone accomplishing,

the raising of the minimum wage.
