So you too can be built up through the insights and mysteries God revealed to her throughout

her ministry.

Now without further ado, here is Elizabeth Elliott.

In Ephesians 4 verses 22 to 24, we have the antidote to movement which is really sweeping

the country.

When I am deeply disturbed about this movement, I mean deeply disturbed.

You know, whatever the world says today, Francis Schaefer told us just before he died,

the church will be saying seven years from now.

And the church does have a way of being infected by secular thinking.

The church was doing that back in Paul's day when he wrote his letter to the Romans because

he said to the Romans, don't let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold.

But let God remold your minds from within, then you will be able to discern that the

plan of God for you is good, etc.

I don't know any way to correct our secular thinking other than to soak ourselves, saturate

ourselves in the word of God.

And we find the antidotes to secular poison in his word.

And so I wanted to read you these two verses, three verses, Ephesians 4, 22 to 24.

You were taught with regard to your former way of life to put off your old self which

is being corrupted by its deceitful desires to be made new in the attitude of your minds
