Today on the show, we are joined by Laura May Northrop.

Laura is a creator and the host of the podcast Inside Eyes, a series that explores the use of entheogens and psychedelics to heal sexual trauma.

She is a practicing psychotherapist and educator. Laura's work focuses on defining sexual violence through a spiritual and politicized lens and supporting the spiritual integrity of our collective humanity.

She is a champion of living more fully engaged and responsible lives through the healing, use of anthogens and psychedelics.

And she lives and works in Oakland, California.

So in this episode, we chat about somatics, trauma, Laura's podcast, tips on creating safety in ceremony or sessions.

And we also talk a little bit about sexual abuse. So as a trigger

warning, we are talking about trauma, abuse, and stuff like that, those topics. So as a trigger

warning, if this at any point becomes, you know, a little too much, you know, definitely

care of yourself. Also want to plug that Laura is hosting a workshop called sexual ethics in the

psychedelic community with a few others. So we have, she's going to be co-hosting a workshop with Gabrielle Burton Hill, Brett a Love,

Laura, Leah Friedman, who has been on the show in the past, and Shelley Agnes Hortree.

Hopefully I pronounce that right.
